KristeNicole

Hey Ya’ll

I’m KristeNicole, the singer-songwriter of the song Godly Woman, which inspired and birthed Godly Woman Ministries. I’ll share that story with you in just a moment, but first a little about me.

I have always had a passion for women’s ministry and I love attending women’s conferences at the local churches near my hometown in East Tennessee. For me, they have always been an opportunity to recharge, be inspired, and a time for growth in my spiritual life. I have learned the life lessons of other Godly Women and gained new perspectives for my own personal situations I was walking through or would walk through later. I also loved this fun time to hang out and build relationships with sisters in Christ.

I am a detailed go-getter with a background in business. I love to have a plan but I also have a heart for God. I only want the things He wants for me; I have lived enough of life to know that the things He wants for me and my life are far better than anything I can even plan or even image. My music career is living proof of that!

Music has always been around me and in me, In 2021 I took a huge step in faith and released my first original single “In God’s Time”. I haven’t looked back since. I never dreamed of being able to create meaningful music to share with others; God will give you the desires of your heart. I’m so thankful to be able to share this gift and the rich melodies that comfort my soul.

The Song

I was approached one day by a co-writer, Cooter Daniel, about writing a song for specifically for women. I’m not gonna lie, I wasn’t completely sold on the idea at first pitch. However, I am always up for sharpening my song-writer skills so I thought “what can it hurt to sit down and try to write this song”. We sat down with a hook line, melody, legal pad, pen, and Bible, and started brain storming about all the Godly Women in the Bible that can be used in this song. We wrote the song and laid down a rough vocal to listen to it and to remember. As sad as it sounds, if a songwriter doesn’t get it down on paper and in a recording, we sometimes forget our own song – crazy, I know. I can only explain it like having a dream that you want desperatly to remember but can’t recall it the moment you awaken.

For the next several days I had this rough recording on repeat and could not figure out what it was about this song that had me hooked and needing to hear it over and over. Then it hit me like a ton of bricks. Godly Woman was a song that I needed in my life. I was walking through a very tough season of life. What I didn’t realize I was needing was the reminder to carry on. I AM a Godly Woman and I DO have the strength to carry on in spite of all the junk of life with which I was dealing. It was at that point I knew we had to record this song.

With the studio booked, I headed to Nashville ro lay down a vocal for a song that would change my life forever.

To watch a song be born from an idea and follow the process to release day is something very special.

“Godly Woman” was released to radio in January of 2022. I soon found out that “Godly Woman” was a message needed by women of all walks of life. “

“Godly Woman” hit the HLE Radio Top 10 Christian Country Countdown and climbed all the way up to the #1 spot where it stayed for 7 weeks. It also charted in Power Source Top 40 Christian Country Chart as well as in the American Christian Country Music Top 40 Chart.

The Cover

From the launch of the Godly Woman Project, I knew that a true Godly Woman needed to be the cover image for this song. I knew exactly who and what the image was supposed to be. Was it possible?

Let me introduce you to the beautiful Godly Woman on the cover of the “Godly Woman” single.

I came to know Sarah Elizabeth Stidam after she has already been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). Through all of her medical struggles, Sarah was always a joyful person with a positive attitude, beautiful smile, big heart, a deep love for people, her family, and friends. Above all was her love of and devotion to our Heavenly Father.

I had the pleasure of working with and developing a relationship with Sarah through various church and women’s ministry events.

After befriending Sarah on a deeper level while dealing with a tough season in my own personal walk of faith, I had my most memorable conversation with Sarah. I asked her how she stayed so positive in dealing with so much in her life and she said, “It is all JESUS! I don’t know how people do it without Him.”

I then asked her if she ever felt disappointed with God and she said, “I just know that He will get me through whatever it is I’m dealing with. We are not promised an easy life. I try to cling to all His promises and not think on all of the negative. What will negativity bring me but more negativity. I have learned how real He is and how without Him I can do nothing. It is not easy, but I just know no other way. It is hard to just let go and know, but, I figure at worst I will be in Heaven with no more pain or sorrow. In the end I Win! This is just my temporary home and I am passing through.”

In December of 2020 Sarahs health started declining and she was taken to the hospital where she was diagnosed with pneumonia and had tested positive for covid. She was later placed on a ventilator because she was not getting enough oxygen in her system.

People from all walks of life came to support Sarah in prayer as they stood outsider her hospital window offering prayers for healing.

In January of 2021, after just over a month in the hospital, at the age of 37 Sarah passed away from complications with Covid.

So many shattered hearts, so many questions like:  Why didn’t God answer the prayers of so many of us, from all over the country, who came together to pray for Sarah’s healing?

Where was God when we needed Him the most?

The truth is we wanted what was best for us, to keep Sarah with us for a longer period of time, However, Sarah’s best case scenario was to go home and be with the Lord rather than stay here on earth and deal with constant health struggles and pain.

We felt like we lost Sarah, but, she had won in the end just like she said she would. Sarah received something better than physical healing, she received her eternal home with her Heavenly Father where she would no longer have any sickness, sorrow, pain, or tears.

Sarah loved the song “Way Maker” by Leeland. I’m reminded of her memory every time I hear this breath-taking song and can’t help but think that when I see Sarah again she will still be singing, “Way maker, miracle worker, promise keeper, light in the darkness, my God That is who you are!”

God did not give Sarah MS or create covid. Both are results of sin that cursed this world.

I am so thankful that our Heavenly Father allowed our paths to meet on this side of Heaven. Even after her passing, Sarah’s life continues to touch my life as well as thousands of others through her life message of strength and perseverance, That is exactly what it takes to be a Godly Woman and finish strong in this life.

Sarah’s dad took the photo of Sarah gracing the cover. It marked Sarah’s 3rd anniversary of her MS diagnosis. For me, this photo of Sarah raising her hands to the Heavenly Father with her walking cane by her side is the image of a Godly Woman who has strength and courage to carry on and determination to win her daily battles despite her circumstances. I met with the family and asked them to prayerfully consider letting me use this image of Sarah for the Godly Woman Project. They graciously granted me permission. This picture is now a reminder of Sarah’s Heavenly victory.

Sarah’s Godly Woman Legacy has a ripple effect. I believe it will carry on for generations to come. Even though your story may look nothing like Sarah’s, your Godly Woman Legacy can have a generational ripple effect as well.

For me this photo of Sarah raising her ha

What We Believe

OUR PURPOSE

Our purpose at Godly Woman Ministries is to disciple women to walk in faith with the Heavenly Father and connect them to Godly Woman Resources for all seasons and walks of life.

– God is the Creator and Ruler of the Universe. He has eternally existed in three personalities: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Genesis 1:1, 26, 27 3:22, Psalm 90:2, Matthew 28:19, 1 Peter 1:2, 2 Corinthians 13:14, John 1:1-3

– Jesus Chris is the Song of God. He is co-equal with the Father. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sings of all people by dying on the cross. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven’s glory and will return again someday to earth to reign as King of kings and Lord of lords.

Matthew 1:22-2, Isaiah 9:6, John 1:1-5, 14:10-30, Hebrews 4:14-15, 1 Corinthians 15:3-4, Romans 1:3-4, Acts 1:9-11, 1 Timothy 6:14-15, Titus 2:13

– The Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son of God. He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He provides the Christian with the power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. He gives every believer at least one spiritual gift when they are saved. As Christians, we seek to live under His control daily.

2 Corinthians 3:17, John 16:7-13, 14:16-17, Acts 1:8 1 Corinthians 2:12, 3:16, Ephesians 1:13, Galatians 5:25, Ephesians 5:18

– The Bible is God’s Word to us. It was written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is he supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living. Because God inspired it, it is the truth without any mixture of error.

2 Timothy 3:6, 2 Peter 1:20-21, 2 Timothy 1:13, Psalm 119:105, 160, 12:6, Proverbs 30:5

– People are made in the spiritual image of God, to be like Him in character. People are supreme object of God’s creation. Although every person has tremendous potential for good, all of us are marred by an attitude of disobedience toward God called sin. This attitude separates people from God and causes many problems in life.

Genesis 1:27, Psalm 8:3-6, Isaiah 53:6, Romans 3:23, Isaiah 59:1-2

– Salvation is God’ free gift to us… but we must accept it. We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement of good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness can anyone be saved from sin’s penatly. When we turn from our self-ruled life and turn to Jesus as Lord, we are saved. Eternal life begins the moment a person receives Jesus Christ into his or her life by faith.

Romans 6:23m 5:1, Ephesians 2:8-9, John 1:12, 14:6, Titus 3:5, Galatians 3:26

– Because God gives us eternal life through Jesus Christ, the true believer is secure in that salvation for eternity. If you have been genuinely saved, you cannot lose your salvation. It is maintained by the grace and power of God, not by the self-effort of the Christian.

John 10:28-29, 2 Timothy 1;12, Hebrews 7:25, 10:10-14, 1 Peter 1:3-5

– People were created to live eternally. We will either exist eternally separated from God by sin or eternally with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is hell. TO be eternally in union with Him is eternal life. Heaven and Hell are real places of eternal existence.

John 3:16, 2:25, 5:11-13, Romans 6:23, Revelation 20:15, Matthew 1:8, 2:44-6
